Evergreen Landscaping CT
A custom-coded landscaping website designed around local lead generation, responsive design, accessibility, and a straightforward quote-request experience.

Case Study
Challenge
Landscaping is a local, seasonal, trust-driven service. A visitor usually arrives from a phone, already half-decided, and needs two things fast: proof the work is good, and an obvious way to ask for a price.
Approach
I built the page around a single conversion path rather than a long brochure. Services are grouped into three scannable categories, the quote request is never more than one tap away, and the layout was designed mobile-first so the desktop version is the expansion — not the other way around.

- Repeated, contextual CTA placement at each natural decision point
- Short quote flow that asks only for what is needed to give a price

A WordPress/Gutenberg website for a fictional auto-detailing business, designed around service discovery, mobile usability, and appointment requests.

Case Study
Challenge
Detailing packages are easy to over-explain. The concept needed to present several tiers of service without turning the homepage into a price list, while staying editable by an owner who would never open a code editor.
Approach
I built it in WordPress using native Gutenberg blocks and reusable patterns, so every section can be duplicated, reordered or reworded from the editor. Packages are presented as three comparable cards with one consistent action — request an appointment — rather than competing buttons.

- Mobile layout treated as the primary case, since most traffic is phone-first

A Practical Approach
to Better Websites.
My name is Surya Kumar. I build websites for small businesses and organizations, working in both WordPress and custom front-end development depending on what the project actually calls for.
I care about websites that are visually polished, responsive, easy to understand, and genuinely useful to the business behind them. That usually means fewer pages rather than more, plain language over marketing filler, and a layout that makes the next step obvious on a phone as well as a laptop.
I'm a university student, and I take that as a reason to be thorough rather than a headline: I test across screen sizes, keep the code readable, and hand over something you can keep using without needing me for every small change.
